Larry (Hoss) Pearson, Captain USN (Ret)

Mr. Pearson founded and was the President / Chief Executive Office of Advanced Training Systems International, Inc., (“ATSI”), based at Phoenix / Mesa Gateway Airport, the former Williams Air Force Base on the outskirts of Phoenix, Arizona. Under his leadership, ATSI established the first civilian adversary / training company with many first milestones including sourcing, regenerating and importing a fleet of 13 A-4N Skyhawk aircraft from the Israeli Air Force, and establishing major training and tactical support contracts with United Arab Emirates Air Force and with US Government’s major Program Office, Big Crow Program Office, servicing US Navy, US Air Force, Royal Canadian Air Force, and US Army contracts.

Biography

Founder and former President/CEO of Advanced Training Systems International, Inc. Arizona-based tactical air services company providing high level training and tactical services utilizing a fleet of 13 A-4 Skyhawks sourced from the Israeli Air Force. Naval career included tours as Commanding Officer of VF-154 Black Knights, the Blue Angels, VX-4 Air Test and Evaluation Squadron, and Naval Air Station Miramar. 

Captain Pearson accumulated a total of 8,500 flight hours in tactical aircraft involving 66 different types of aircraft. His career includes 158 combat missions and a total of 820 carrier landings. He was an engineer and engineering test pilot for 18 years and is an Associate Fellow, Society of Experimental Test Pilots Education includes a Master’s Degree in Science and Aeronautical Engineering, U.S. Naval Postgraduate School. He is also a Distinguished Graduate of the US Naval Test Pilot School Patuxent River, Maryland His final tour in the US Navy was Commanding Officer of Naval Air Station Miramar (“FIGHTERTOWN USA”), the U.S. Navy’s largest shore facility and home of TOPGUN, the US Navy’s post-graduate Fighter Weapons School. During this tour, he flew as a flight instructor in the F-14A, B, and D models and helped develop the courseware and tactics for the new Super Tomcat, F-14D. Since his retirement from the US Navy, Captain 

Pearson has remained actively involved in aviation, flying both flight tests and air shows, and came full circle to fly the F-8 Crusader once again in both arenas. As a civilian test pilot, he participated in several high priority Department of Defense test projects, including the B-2 Stealth Bomber Program and the F-22 Stealth Fighter Program, flying seven different types of aircraft.

Arizona is going through difficult times with serious questions about the last two elections; open borders with the influx of illegal drugs, human trafficking and illegal aliens coming from around the globe.

State Challenges

The most important issue for Arizona is election integrity and full confidence of our citizens, the voters, that their voice has been heard. 

State Successes

We need honest conservatives at every level of our government from school boards to county boards to the governor’s office. We want honest office holders that are true Americans that love our country and the Constitution.
